....this week, has added Craig Brewster to his coaching staff.
With Watt the only recognised coach in the management team, he’s called upon a former boss to work alongside him on an interim basis.
After a 25-year playing career, Brewster moved into management with Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Dundee United.
Following caretaker stints at Crawley Town, he was most-recently Derek Adams’ number two at SkyBet League One side Plymouth Argyle.
The pair took Argyle to the League Two play-off final at the end of the 2015/16 season and, after the disappointment of losing out to AFC Wimbledon, automatic promotion was secured twelve months later.
Brewster told http://www.maidstoneunited.co.uk: “I finished at Plymouth Argyle in the summer and Steve phoned me to ask if I would come in and help him while he’s caretaker and I was delighted to.
“Steve was my player at Inverness when I was manager there and I worked with him again at Ross County. I am delighted to team up and see where it goes.”
Watt said: “Craig’s got a wealth of experience in the league and had good success down at Plymouth.
“I am really grateful that he’s come in, I look forward to working with him and hopefully getting some positive results”. |
