Greave is a renowned forward who was with Vanarama National League North side FC United since the 2012/13 season, making 273 appearances and netting 103 times, making him their leading goalscorer.

He took over temporary charge of FC United last October following the departure of Karl Marginson and was appointed manager in November.

However, he found it difficult to juggle his player-manager role with work and family commitments and decided to step down to concentrate on playing for the time being.

Kelly has added some experience and a proven goalscorer to the squad in time for tomorrow`s home fixture against Scarborough Athletic.
