Joining Braintree on a half-season loan from SkyBet League Two neighbours Colchester United is 20-year-old defender or midfielder Cameran James.

James, 20, started in Colchester's academy at the age of 9, progressing through the age groups to make his League debut in May 2016 against Rochdale.

In the summer of 2016 he agreed a new four-year contract with the club and ended the season having made 15 first-team appearances.

He made 7 appearances last season before a spell with National League South side Chelmsford City on loan.

Justin Amaluzor is a 21-year old forward who started his career at Luton Town before joining Barnet in April 2015.

He played 28 games in the Football League for the Bees before leaving in the summer.

He also had spells on loan at Hemel Hempstead Town, Hampton & Richmond Borough and Bognor Regis Town last season – all in the National League South.

David Nieskens is a 24-year-old central defender who joins the club having spent last season with Braintree`s league rivals Barrow AFC, where he made 8 appearances.

Unfortunately, complications with a knee injury ruled him out for the rest of the season after being injured in Barrow`s game at Tranmere Rovers in September and he returned to The Netherlands for surgery.

Prior to his spell in Cumbria, Nieskens played for Helmond Sport in the Dutch Eersre Divisie, making 36 appearances.

Mohammed Sagaf is a 20-year-old midfielder who has had spells with both Leatherhead and Walthamstow FC.

He has impressed in training with Quinton's squad over recent sessions and has subsequently signed registration forms.
