....Tamworth in the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division Central on Friday night.
In front of a crowd of 683 at Hayden Road, it was the visiting Lambs who took a 12th minute lead when, from their first corner of the game, Akwasi Asante got on the end of a flick-on to convert at the far post.
But on 22 minutes, Diamonds were back on level terms when Ben Farrell intercepted the ball and sent Tom Lorraine through to beat Tamworth `keeper Jasbir Singh with a powerful low effort.
However, parity lasted barely 3 minutes as the Lambs re-took the lead when Tristan Dunkley curled in a cross and found Tyrell Waite at the back post to bury a header past Diamonds` goalkeeper Ben Heath.
Diamonds came close to levelling the scores in the 33rd minute of an entertaining half when Joel Gyasi found Albie Hopkins whose cross was sliced onto the bar by visiting defender Regan Upton.
The second half was an even affair with fewer chances at either end.
It looked as though Tamworth, relegated from the Vanarama National League North at the end of last season, would hold on to record their second win.
But 5 minutes into time added on at the end of the game, Callum Westwood`s cross was parried up in the air by Singh and Lorraine headed home to earn Diamonds a point.
