The 32-year-old is
the son of former Everton and Scotland striker Graeme and has had spells with
Northern Premier League side Marine, The New Saints, AFC Telford United and
Colwyn Bay.
He started his
career in Wales with Rhyl, before moving on to Bangor City where he scored 33
goals in 40 games.
That form secured
him a move to The New Saints, where he scored 22 goals in 29 appearances,
winning the Welsh league title and appearing in the Champions League.
He moved on to
Telford, scoring 15 goals in the team’s first season back in the Conference.
Spells at Lincoln
City, Hereford United and Stockport County followed before he joined Colwyn Bay
in the summer of 2015.
He then switched to
Marine AFC in December 2015 before joining Bradford Park Avenue.
Sharp was the only
ever-present for Avenue in league matches during the 2016/17 season as he made
25 starts and 17 substitute appearances, netting 5 goals.
He moved to Alfreton
Town in June 2017 before switching to The Nash in May.
He goes straight
into the squad for Tuesday's home game with newly-promoted South Shields. |
