Jackson is new to the Moors` first-team squad for the 2018/19 having applied his trade for Spennymoor under-18 side last season.
Jackson excelled, earning rave reviews for his performances on a consistent basis. His skilful playing style earned him a call-up to the first-team for their Durham Challenge Cup games in 2017/18, where he featured against Billingham Town, Chester-le-Street and Shildon.
He earned the prestigious accolade of becoming the first ever Spennymoor player to be called up for his country when he was selected for the England School under-18 squad in January 2018.
The three-month deal started on Monday and Spennymoor manager Jason Ainsley will be hoping Jackson will flourish in the Northern League.
“Playing in a tough league against experienced players will certainly bring them on physically and mentally,” Ainsley told https://spennymoortownfc.co.uk. “We’ll be watching them closely and hopefully this can take them to the next stage of their development”. |
