Lee Hetherington put Seaham ahead on 11 minutes, but West equalised through Amar Purewal just before half-time.

In the Second Division, Durham City lost 1-0 at home to Esh Winning, which means that they still haven’t scored since the opening day of the season.

Former Durham player Max Stoker scored for Esh.

Crook Town lost to a late goal at Birtley Town in a 3-2 defeat.

Dan Hill and Matthew Soulsby in turn put Birtley into the lead, only for Nathan Stephenson and Liam Jarvie to equalise.

But Simon Hay grabbed the winner in the last minute.

Billingham Town are top and still unbeaten after a goal by Jamie Davis gave them victory at Washington.
