The 25-year-old left league rivals Alfreton Town by mutual consent earlier this week after making just three appearances for them following a move from relegated Tamworth in the summer, and the Leamington boss moved quickly to snap him up.

The towering left-footed centre-back spent two seasons with the Lambs after spending 2015/16 at Nuneaton Town.

He began his career at Macclesfield Town, moving through the youth ranks before turning professional.

After leaving the Silkmen he turned out for Salford City, Hinckley United and Oadby Town before spending a year in America playing for Sacremento Republic.

On his return, he played for Ilkeston before switching to Nuneaton.

Holleran told https://www.leamingtonfc.co.uk: 'We are delighted to be able to bring Jack to the club. He is a player that we've tried to bring in before now, and we feel that it will help the balance of the squad to have a left-footed defender that can play a number of positions is what we need at the moment. When the opportunity arose to sign Jack it was too good to turn down, and I look forward to working with him.

“Unfortunately, operating with a small squad means that Kieran Morris will be leaving the club. We'd like to thank Kieran for his efforts during his short time with us and we wish him all the best for the future”.
