Oulton is a 27-year-old midfielder who joined Diamonds in August 2016 having been with Leamington.

Prior to his time with the Brakes he was with Bedford Town and Rugby Town, having begun his career with Northampton Town.

After picking up an injury in an FA Cup game early in the season he missed most of the 2016/17 campaign, making just 16 appearances.

He was sidelined due to further injury issues for the first part of last season, returning early in 2018.

Diamond’s manager Andy Peaks told http://www.afcdiamonds.com: “Ross has been a fantastic player for the club, he needs minutes to recover from his recent injury. Unfortunately, with the squad we have, we can’t offer him that at the moment. We wish him all the best for the future - other than our games against Stratford of course!”

Oulton made 33 appearances for Diamonds, scoring 2 goals, but has made just one substitute appearance this season.

Oulton will go into the squad for Stratford’s Emirates FA Cup First Qualifying Round tie with Alvechurch tomorrow.
