Southend Striker Loaned to Darts

Vanarama National League South club Dartford have signed Amadou Ba from SkyBet League One side Southend United.

French forward Ba impressed whilst on trial during pre-season in 2017 and was rewarded with a professional contract at Southend.

Ba played a part in a number of Blues' pre-season friendlies and got on the scoresheet in a 1-1 draw with Ebbsfleet United.

He also featured against Premier League Brighton & Hove Albion at Roots Hall and the 2-0 victory against Cambridge United.

He made his debut for the club coming off the bench in the Carabao Cup defeat to Newport County.

In total he made five substitute league appearances in his first season at Roots Hall.

The 20-year-old striker joins the Darts on an initial one-month loan and will be in the squad for tomorrow`s game at home to Eastbourne Borough.
