Part two of a round-up of Saturday`s ties.....

Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side Binfield made eased their way into the next round with a 3-0 win over Toolstation Western League Premier Division outfit Buckland Athletic.

 

Two goals were in the bag in the first 4 minutes of play, Eddie Lee and then Sean Moore gave the Moles a great start.

 

Moore scored again in the second half, 62 minutes.

 

In the all-Hellenic League clash at Bishops Cleeve, visitors Wantage Town were two goals up after 24 minutes of play, Steve Robertson on 3 minutes and a Chris Jackson penalty. Cleeve had no response.

 

Hellenic Division One East side Burnham caused an `upset` by scoring the only goal of the game against Bostik North outfit Bury Town, a side playing two levels above Burnham.

 

Daniel Posh scored the decisive goal 4 minutes into the second half.

 

A goal 3 minutes into added time put Lydney Town’s cup dreams on hold.

 

Playing at Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier Division Lymington Town, Lydney were 2-1 up through Sam House and Ashley Jarvis on 90 minutes, but now their hopes have to wait until Tuesday night when the sides replay at Lydney.

 

Southern Counties East League side Corinthian continued their superb start to the season when scoring late to take Bostik South East side Horsham to a replay.

 

The Hoops went behind on 27 minutes but battled to the end and were rewarded when Jack Bath got on the end of a long ball to earn a deserved draw.

 

The replay takes place on Wednesday night.

 

SCEL Beckenham Town against Bostik Premier Walton Casuals and Casuals` league rivals Merstham against another SCEL outfit, Cray Valley PM, both ended 0-0 to force midweek replays.

 

The other SCEL side left, AFC Croydon Athletic, saw their record-breaking cup adventure end after losing 1-0 at AFC Uckfield.

 

The hosts scored in the 78th minute through Regan Smith to create their own historic run in the competition.

 

Brad Warner`s goal 3 minutes into the second half proved to be enough to see Bostik Premier side AFC Hornchurch through at home against Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division South side Harrow Borough.

 

Bostik North side AFC Sudbury pulled off a minor surprise by ousting Southern Premier Division Central visitors Royston Town from the cup by the odd goal in five at the Wardale Williams Stadium.

 

A Callum Harrison penalty was cancelled out by Chris Assombalonga after 33 minutes.

 

Joe Whight restored Sudbury`s lead just before the break, only for Vance Bola to level 10 minutes after it.

 

Former Wycombe and Scunthorpe favourite Paul Hayes won it for the hosts on 66 minutes.

 

Royston`s league rivals Lowestoft Town survived going down to ten-men following the late dismissal of Josh Curry for two bookings to beat Bostik North hosts Ware 1-0, thanks to a Shaun Bammany goal after 69 minutes.

 

Another Southern Premier Central side through are St Neots Town, whose Kasey Douglas scored 8 minutes from time to edge out Bostik Premier side Bishop`s Stortford at the Premier Plus Stadium.

 

The Saints had led through Dylan Williams` 39th minute penalty which Jake Cass cancelled out after 76 minutes.

 

Bostik South East side Sittingbourne bowed out at Woodstock Park to Southern Premier South visitors Gosport Borough, for whom Ryan Pennery`s 54th minute spot-kick proved decisive.

 

Whitehawk, relegated to the Bostik Premier from the Vanarama National League South at the end of last season, are in the hat for tomorrow`s draw after winning 2-0 at Southern Combination League neighbours Pagham.

 

After a goalless first half, James Fraser broke the deadlock 4 minutes after the restart and then a late second from sub Ashley Mutongerwa sealed the Hawks` progress.

 

Southern Division One South side Moneyfields edged out Bostik South East outfit Thamesmead Town 1-0, thanks to Lewis Fennemore, as did Burgess Hill Town`s Ben Pope 6 minutes after the break to win the all-Bostik Premier tie at the Green Elephant Stadium.

 

Metropolitan Police, switched to the Southern Premier Division South in the summer shuffle, edged out Bostik South East Cray Wanderers – unbeaten in the league – by the odd goal in five at Imber Court.

 

The Met got off to a great start with a goal inside the opening minute from Jonny Wright.

 

Junior Dadson levelled 5 minutes later and then Michael Power put the Wands in front just before half-time.

 

But Jack Mazzone on 67 minutes and Ethan Chislett 5 minutes later turned the tie in the Met`s favour.

 

Bostik Premier side Margate avoided a potential banana skin at Hartsdown Park against Southern Combination Leaguers Horndean – just!

 

Alfie Liss threatened an upset by giving the visitors a 16th minute lead.

 

Frannie Collin levelled just before the break and on the hour-mark, Joe Taylor put Gate in front, with a second from the same player from the spot looking like easing them through on 77 minutes.

 

But a late Jack Maloney effort set up a nervy finale.

 

Margate`s league rivals Leatherhead eased through 2-0 at Fetcham Grove against Bostik South East side Herne Bay, courtesy of Shaun Okojie after 12 minutes and sub Reece Deakin 10 minutes from time.

 

Another Bostik Premier side in Monday`s hat are Tonbridge Angels, who won 2-0 at Bay`s league rivals Hythe Town, thanks to a brace from Alex Reid after 7 and 81 minutes at Reachfields.

 

Struggling Bostik Premier side Tooting & Mitcham United are also through, surviving going down to ten-men 15 minutes from time to win 2-1 at Southern Combination League hosts Horsham YMCA.

 

Dean Bown broke the deadlock to give Horsham a 55th minute lead that Lexus Beeden levelled 14 minutes later.

 

But on 75 minutes, defender Tope Fadahunsi was dismissed, but the ten-men won it in stoppage time with a goal from sub Elijah Simpson.

 

An all-Bostik Premier tie saw Haringey Borough win 3-2 at Brentwood Town.

 

Sam Carter`s early 3rd minute opener for Town was levelled within 2 minutes through Georgios Aresti.

 

The next goal didn`t arrive until 9 minutes from time when Ayrton Coley put Brentwood in front.

 

But sub Chinedu McKenzie on 88 minutes and then Karl Akinwande in time added on, won it for Boro.

 

Bostik North promotion hopefuls Heybridge Swifts are also through, beating Thurlow Nunn League side Newmarket Town 2-0 at Scraley Road – Sam Bantick after 62 minutes and Nick Brown 7 minutes from time being the Swifts` marksmen.

 

There was a minor `upset` at the Skyex Community Stadium where Bostik South Central side Hayes & Yeading United ousted Southern Premier Division Central new boys AFC Rushden & Diamonds from the cup.

 

Lewis Toomey`s goal after 35 minutes had the home side in front until the 89th minute when Lee Barney eventually added a second.

 

Ben Farrell`s stoppage time penalty gave Diamonds a glimmer of hope, but Hayes went through.

 

Hayes & Yeading`s league rivals Hanwell Town also produced a bit of a shock result by beating Bostik Premier newcomers Potters Bar Town 2-1 at Reynolds Field.

 

Dean McDonnell broke the deadlock to give Hanwell a 48th minute lead that Dernel Wynter levelled almost immediately.

 

But Calum Duffy`s 74th minute second won it for the home side.

 

Bostik North side Great Wakering Rovers are through, winning 3-1 at home to Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One East new boys Wisbech Town.

 

The Fenmen led through Alex Beck`s goal after 365 minutes, but Steve Butterworth had Rovers level at the break.

 

Ollie Woodhouse after 62 minutes and sub Jack Renew 8 minutes from time added two more to take Rovers through.

 

Bostik South East triumphed over Bostik South Central at Calthorpe Park where visiting East Grinstead Town beat Fleet Town 2-1 with goals from George Landais and Jordy Mongoy in the final 13 minutes after the hosts had led from the 28th minute through Imran Uche.

 

The Wasps` league rivals Faversham Town, however, bowed out 3-1 at the Shepherd Neame Stadium to Bostik Premier Worthing, whose Darren Budd, David Ajiboye and James Crane outgunned Matt Bourne.

 

Worthing`s league rivals Dorking Wanderers also progressed at home at the expense of Southern Premier South side Hartley Wintney with Matthew Briggs and Tom Richards scoring in either half.

 

Southern Division One Central hosts Corby Town are in the hat after beating Bostik South Central side Hertford Town 2-0 with goals from Elliot Sandy right on half-time and Joel Carta midway through the second half.

 

There was an exciting tie between Southern Division One Central side Cambridge City and Bostik Premier Brightlingsea Regent which the visitors to Histon edged by the odd goal in seven.

 

Despite leading twice in the tie, City fell short after ending the game with only ten-men following the sending-off of Jordan Gent.

 

James Hall gave City the lead only for Brightlingsea to level just before the half -hour mark through Matt Baxter.

 

City regained the lead just after half-time through Ryan Sharman, but the visitors again levelled soon after from Jake Clowsley, then took the lead through Billy Hunt before Hunt netted an 81st minute penalty to lead by two - Gent seeing red in the aftermath of the decision.

 

City battled back, and Sharman converted a late penalty to set up a frantic finish, but Regent held firm.

 

Bostik North newcomers Basildon United bowed out, losing 2-0 at home to Southern Division One Central side Peterborough Sports, for whom Josh McCammon after 10 minutes and Paul Malone 7 minutes after the break were on target.
