A deflected shot from Oli Maltby on 32 minutes gave the Knights the half-time lead before a second half to forget for the Greens.
They missed two penalties before going down to ten men before Pinchbeck added a second through Lee Beeson’s debut effort, a low strike following an indirect free-kick.
Knights keeper Ricky Lovelace saved Mike Hayden’s spot-kick before watching Joe Smith put his penalty wide a few minutes later and shortly afterwards Charlie Ward picked up his second booking in a day to forget for Sleaford.
The game of the day must have been at Carters Park where visitors Deeping Rangers came from 2-0 with ten-men to beat Holbeach United 3-2.
In didn’t start out well for Deeping as Billy Smith’s cross crept past the keeper at the near post on 12 minutes and got worse when Lewie Harker threaded a ball through for Josh Ford to beat the offside trap and finish neatly 6 minutes before the break.
The second half was a different game though and Charlie Coulson set up Danny Durkin to net his first league goal for Rangers with a powerful low strike on 62 minutes and then Durkin set up Scott Mooney to square the game 6 minutes later.
The advantage seemed to swing back in The Tigers favour after Coulson picked up his second yellow card of the game with 20 minutes remaining, but Deeping were undeterred, and their former player Jonny Clay could only turn a Dan Flack cross into his own net under pressure from Cameron Johnson.
The assistant referee had his flag raised for offside, seemingly against Johnson, but after a discussion the referee gave the goal and Deeping repeated their FA Cup scoreline over Holbeach back in early August.
Eynesbury Rovers moved up to second with a thumping 5-0 win at troubled Boston Town.
Dan Draper (5), Craig Smith (10 & 63) had already wrapped up the points before two stoppage time goals added salt to The Poachers wounds - T’ai Williams (90+2) and Rob Ducket (90+4) getting the late, late goals.
There were six goals at the Dog & Duck where Wellingborough Town twice came from behind to triumph 4-2 over Harborough Town.
Dan Forbes made it three in two when he gave The Bees the lead after 6 minutes, but the advantage only lasted 3 minutes before Jeremiah Adams headed the Doughboys level.
Harborough started the second half as they did the first and took just 4 minutes to regain the lead when a great run from Harry Henbury from just outside his own box saw him set up full-back Tony Bartlett to turn the ball home.
That was as good as it got for the visitors though as James Gillard outmuscled his man to get to beat Glen Giles from a tight angle on 69, before two goals from 17-year-old Connor I’Anson gave Wellingborough their first home win since the opening day.
His first saw him lash the ball home to give his side the lead for the first time on 75 minutes, then he converted a low cross from close range to seal the points 7 minutes later.
Newport Pagnell Town were held 1-1 at home by Rothwell Corinthians, despite taking the lead through Harry Stratton’s 20th minute header from a well-placed Jake Stronge cross.
Corinthians levelled before the break and that is how it finished.
ON Chenecks picked up a 3-1 home win against Kirby Muxloe but had to come from behind after trailing at the break.
A superb finish from Jon Muddiman brought them level after 51 minutes before two late goals earned them the points.
Dan Quigley netting the first from the penalty spot after 80 minutes and Chenecks added a third 2 minutes later through Ash Ogden.
Whitworth picked up their first point of the season at Desborough Town in a game that ended 2-2.
Will Arnold gave Ar Tarn a 33rd minute lead, but an own goal from Aiden Bradshaw saw the sides go in level at half-time.
Lamar Parkes had supplied the ball for the first goal and it was his cross that was headed home by Aaron Davies to restore the home side’s lead on 59 minutes, but Dante Memoli kept his cool to slot home an 87th minute penalty and earn a point for the Flourmen.
Goals from Christian Le and Kieran Blanchard gave Peterborough Northern Star a 2-1 win at Leicester Nirvana and lift them up to eleventh in the table after their terrible start to the season.
