Thomas joined Ashford from Kent neighbours Hythe Town in January 2018.

He was originally with Faversham Town before joining the Wasps for the first time two years ago.

Longhurst told https://egtfc.co.uk: "Will Thomas, was previously with us for a season where he won player of the year and was club captain. Will is an intelligent player for his age and someone I rate highly and am looking forward to working with again."

Thomas follows hot on the heels of another returning Wasp in Jordy Mongoy.

Longhurst has managed to bring the winger back to the club after impressing during his short loan spell last season.

"Jordy Mongoy is an exciting winger who was previously with the club on loan last season from Dagenham & Redbridge who has moved on to Billericay Town from whom he’s chosen the Wasps over several other loan options. I'm delighted to welcome back the 19-year-old wide player".
