Lita joins the Kent club having recently returned from playing in Thailand for Sisaket in the T1 League.

Lita numbers Chelsea, Bristol City, Reading, Swansea, Middlesbrough and Yeovil Town amongst his other former clubs.

Manager Mike Sandmann told http://www.margate-fc.co.uk: “It’s fantastic to have a player with Leroy’s experience joining the already talented group of lads we have. It’s another attacking option that will give the team and the supporter a lift.”

Margate’s vice-chairman Ricky Owen said: "This is a massive boost for the club and supporters as Leroy has a history with the club. His appearance at the Tonbridge created a real buzz with the fans”.
