Morgan made an
immediate impact during his first spell with The Nash, scoring 11 goals in just
9 appearances
He joined Sligo
ahead of the 2018 season but left by mutual consent as he continues to contend
with an abdominal injury which has restricted him to one substitute appearance
since he made his last start against Shamrock Rovers in May.
Morgan moved to Sligo
following a spell with FC Halifax Town.
The 24-year-old
began his career with home-town club Liverpool, for whom he made three
first-team appearances under Brendan Rodgers in the 2012/13 season.
But his career
quickly took a nosedive as he moved to Yeovil Town who were in the Championship
at the time, before five more moves down the tiers in England and St Johnstone
in Scotland that eventually saw him enter non-League football.
Morgan found
goalscoring form with Curzon Ashton and then Halifax and following a lengthy
pursuit by the Bit O' Red, he joined Sligo ahead of their new season.
His time in Ireland
got off to a promising start, as he scored 4 goals in his first six
appearances. However, with injury problems hampering his progress, he leaves
with a tally of 5 goals in 17 appearances in all competitions. |
