Shariff, a prolific frontman with a proven eye for goal, joined Stratford from St Neots in July.
He joined the Saints originally from National League North outfit Alfreton Town.
He had signed for the Reds in November 2017 from AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
Shariff joined the Diamonds in January 2016 from Daventry Town and had started out in the now sadly defunct former Rushden & Diamonds.
He made an excellent impression with his appearances for Diamonds in the 2010/11 season, when he made his League debut, initially with a number of substitute appearances, and after he had opened his goalscoring account he was given a first start in April 2011, scoring 3 goals in his first two full games.
He also started the final game played by the old Diamonds club.
After leaving Nene Park, he played for a number of clubs, including Tamworth, Banbury United, Corby Town and Stamford AFC, before signing for Daventry.
Since making his debut for the new Diamonds in April 2016, Shariff played 73 games for the club, scoring 40 goals.
He had scored 14 goals in 18 appearances ahead of his switch to Alfreton.
Shariff will be in contention for a place in the squad for Saturday's visit to Banbury United.
Meanwhile, St Neots` assistant-manager Matt Haniver has left the club.
In what he quite rightly described as an "opportunity of a lifetime and one which he just couldn't turn down", Haniver will be jetting off to Saudi Arabia to take up the position of lead coach at the Juventus academy.
