Smith was at Frickley`s league rivals Loughborough Dynamo last season, scoring 13 goals in 40 appearances and has recently being called up for the England Futsal senior squad after representing the under-23s.

Frickley manager Spencer Fearn told the club`s website: “Alistair was excellent at Loughborough last season and when we became aware of his availability, we moved quickly. He has a fantastic engine, an eye for a goal and will further increase competition for places.

“Our thanks go to Richard Cooper at Mansfield Town for arranging the move. It’s great to be working with them again this season”.
