Read signed for Harlow in July 2013 from Essex neighbours Aveley.

Previously with Tilbury and Brentwood Town, having been with the Hawks for five seasons Read has decided to take on a new challenge and will be hoping to transfer his scoring achievements to Kent.

His scoring pedigree includes 52 goals for Harlow in 2013/14 -  a club Post War record - and in five seasons at the Arena he clocked up 278 appearances, scoring in that time 178 goals.

Angels Boss, Steve McKimm told the club`s website: “Alex is a player I have admired for a number of seasons now and his goalscoring record speaks for itself. I’m thrilled that he has decided to join us to become an important component of the squad for 2018/19”.
