....before today’s home game in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division against South Shields.

Firstly, a familiar face to Gladiators fans is the return of 35-year-old Cleveland Taylor makes his return to The Proctor Cars Stadium.

Taylor is a vastly experienced defender or midfielder making over 400 appearances for the likes of Bolton Wanderers, Scunthorpe United, Carlise United, Brentford FC and Burton Albion.

He has a good non-League pedigree as well playing for the likes of Grimsby Town, Harrogate Town, Corby Town, Barwell, Coalville Town and Stamford AFC.

Taylor previously played for the Gladiators in the 2016/17 before making the move to Coalville where he would make over 50 appearances before joining promotion-chasing Stamford where he has played every game so far this season.

Secondly, another player from the Daniels to join the Gladiators is 21-year-old Taron Hare.

The versatile defender has previously played for York City, Boston United, North Ferriby United and Gainsborough Trinity in the Vanarama National League North before deciding to make the move to Stamford earlier this season and becoming a big core of their backline.

Tom Davie makes the move to the Gladiators from Cleethorpes Town.

The 22-year old left-sided player started off his youth career at Dagenham & Redbridge, before playing for Gainsborough, North Ferriby, Bradford Park Avenue, Darlington and once again Gainsborough last term.

And finally, versatile 34-year-old defender Lee Beevers arrives from vo-Stik Southern League Premier Division Central side King`s Lynn Town.

Beevers has vast amounts of experience at Football League level playing for Ipswich Town, Colchester United, Walsall and Mansfield Town as well as experience at non-League level with Lincoln City, Gainsborough, Alfreton Town and most recently King`s Lynn where he was also part of the management team under Simon Clark, who lost his post earlier this week.
