Town claimed their seventh win of the season to remain top of the table with a 2-0 victory at the Gallagher Stadium against Maidstone United.

Callum Howe netted a powerful header after 18 minutes to give the visitors the advantage in Harry Wheeler`s first game in charge of the Stones, before Jack Muldoon continued his fine form in front of goal, converting Joe Leesley's through ball on the stroke of half-time.

The hosts pressed for a way back into the game after the break, but Town saw out the contest with tidy possession football and organised defending to claim all three points.

Orient stretched their unbeaten run to eleven matches after a 3-1 victory over Barnet at the Breyer Group Stadium.

Orient took the lead on 11 minutes thanks to Josh Coulson from close-range.

However, Barnet were quick to make Orient pay when they equalised on 24 minutes when Wes Fonguck fired past Dean Brill from the edge of the box.

On 68 minutes, Orient regained the lead when Craig Clay fed the ball into James Dayton who cut in from the right side of the area before curling a left-footed shot into the far corner beyond a helpless Mark Cousins.

And the O’s netted a third goal on 78 minutes through Macauley Bonne, whose first attempt came back off the post, but the striker was alert to

hammer home the rebound.

Wrexham are second after running riot in the first half as they eventually ran out 4-1 victors against Ebbsfleet United at The Racecourse Ground.

Sam Ricketts' side scored four times in the opening period from Chris Holroyd, Rekeil Pyke, Stuart Beavon and Shaun Pearson as they secured another win to remain a point behind leaders Harrogate.

The visitors pulled one back in the 48th minute through Danny Kedwell but were unable to dent the Dragons lead any further.

Hartlepool United had to settle for a point against Eastleigh at The Super 6 Stadium.

In a first half dominated by the home side, Niko Muir got the opening goal after 24 minutes.

But they didn't add to this tally and Eastleigh upped their game in the second half and got the equaliser on 70 minutes through Paul McCallum and Pools were unable to find a winner.

A poor first-half cost FC Halifax Town dear as they lost 3-0 at York Road to Maidenhead United.

The Shaymen conceded three goals in a game for the first time under Jamie Fullarton as two from Josh Kelly after 12 and 36 minutes and another from the impressive Adrian Clifton sandwiched between on 18 minutes put the Magpies in complete command at half-time.

Maidenhead`s outstanding Ayo Obileye was then sent-off in the 90th minute for a second booking but it had little effect on the outcome.

Solihull Moors ended a run of two successive defeats when two second half goals proved enough for a 2-0 win at Crabble against a Dover Athletic side who haven`t won in seven matches now.

The visitors broke the deadlock on 72 minutes when Dover `keeper Mitch Walker’s clearance was headed back into the path of the on-rushing Jermaine Hylton to volley home.

And the lead was doubled 8 minutes later when Darren Carter took advantage of some slack defending to pick his spot from the edge of the box.

Chesterfield made it eight games without a win in the league after drawing 1-1 at the Chigwell Construction Stadium against Dagenham & Redbridge

The Spireites started well and took the lead in the 13th minute when Lee Shaw capitalised on mix-up in the defence to break into the box, before squaring the ball across the edge of the six-yard box for Curtis Weston to tap in.

The visitors eventually drew level on 79 minutes later when Chike Kandi capitalised on an error from Will Evans to chip over the on-rushing Shwan Jalal from 18 yards.

Braintree Town are finally off the mark after recording a 1-0 win at the International Stadium against Gateshead.

Joe Ellul`s goal 10 minutes after half-time eventually proved enough to condemn Gateshead to defeat and earn the Iron a first win in eleven attempts.

Salford City made it eight games unbeaten with a 2-0 success at Hayes Lane against ten-man Bromley.

The visiting Ammies broke the deadlock 9 minutes before half-time when Rory Gaffney headed home after an Adam Rooney assist.

Seven minutes into the second half, Bromley`s task became a lot tougher when Adam Mekki was dismissed for a reckless challenge.

And just past the hour-mark, Tom Walker doubled Salford`s lead after a swift counter-attack.

AFC Fylde enjoyed a dominant 3-0 win at Mill Farm against Aldershot Town.

Two goals in 2 minutes just before the break put the Coasters in command.

Ryan Croasdale put the home side in front and Serhat Tasdemir added a headed second.

Joe Cardle made it game over with Fylde`s third on 62 minutes.

Sutton United condemned Havant & Waterlooville to a 2-1 defeat at Westleigh Park.

The Hawks led at the break, thanks to a 33rd minute effort from Nicke Kabamba.

But Tommy Wright equalised on the hour-mark and Harry Beautyman popped up with the U`s winner 13 minutes from time.

Barrow AFC looked as though their journey to Meadow Park was going to be a winning one as they led against Boreham Wood with 9 minutes to go.

John Rooney`s effort looked to have won it for Ian Evatt`s side.

But Kieran Murtagh`s fine volley in stoppage time salvaged a point for Wood.
