Sungate provided Canning Town with one of their goals, the other one was supplied by Tom Quinn as Canning came over with a 2-0 away win.
Jamie Miller fired Basildon Town to the top of the Division One table; his solitary goal inflicted a 1-0 defeat on Old Chelmsfordians that also sees his side maintain their one percent winning start to the season.

Shenfield AFC picked up a 5-2 away win at Frenford Res. with braces for Jordan Elliot and Mitch Day, with Sam Bubb also chipping in.

In Division Two, Runwell Sports were able to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat on Saturday; going into the final 25 minutes of the game, Runwell were trailing 2-0 but goals from Callum Prin, Declan Clarke, plus an unfortunate own goal saw them run out 3-2 winners.
Peter Spicer bagged both of Toby’s goals in a 2-2 draw with Shoebury Town. The visitors equalised in the final minute to salvage a point with Aaron Day and Dom Binns their marksmen.
A Jason Patmore brace plus goals from Dwayne Francis-Riley and Troy Reed helped Rochford Town beat Beacon Hill Rovers 4-2. Charlie Brewer and Steve Bennett scored for Beacon Hill.
Westhamians remain top of Division Three after a 3-1 win at Roydon.
Tom Pennells, Ben Jones and Sam Jones supplied the goals. Old Southendian Res. are up to second after they secure a 3-1 win at White Ensign Res.
Ryan Kelly, Pete Jelley and Ben Franklin scored the goals, and while Zach Somerset-Butley was able to find the net with one penalty, Old Southendian keeper George Dugdale was able to save the other one.
Hutton Res and Academy Soccer played out a tight, tough battle; but any late comers would have missed the only goal of the game as Luis Ruiz provided that for Academy Soccer inside the opening minute.
In the Essex Premier Cup, Galleywood were trailing to a Ross Carpenter goal which Ongar Town were able to hold onto going into the final 20 minutes of their first round tie.
However, Galleywood rallied and went on to win the game 2-1, with Thomas Watling and Jack Chatterway their marksmen.
