....Western League Premier Division club Buckland Athletic have parted company with player-manager Craig Duff.

Duff was appointed in May after Adam Castle ‘moved upstairs’ to become director of football.

Duff, 29, is an attacking midfielder or striker who joined Buckland from Bideford in January.

His other former clubs include Weymouth, Truro City and Taunton Town.

He has quickly been signed by league rivals Willand Rovers as a player.

Despite being `managerless`, Buckland have made two new signings.

They have re-signed former Dartmouth AFC and Stoke Gabriel player Josh Webber

Webber was part of last season`s squad and signed forms in pre-season but has recently been playing for Stoke Gabriel in the South West Peninsula League Division One East

The club also announced the signing of ex-Exeter City youth team player Mitch Thomas.

Thomas also orginally signed forms in pre-season but has recently been playing for Cullompton Rangers in the SWPL Premier Division.
