Former Histon and
Gainsborough Trinity midfielder Roberts linked up with the Pilgrims in January
2015.
He arrived after
spending the first half of the 2014/15 campaign with Trinity and having played
under former Boston boss Dennis Greene earlier in his career at Histon.
He signed a new
one-year deal in February 2015 and repeated the feat in June 2016.
Roberts was struck
down by a serious knee infection in August 2016 and did not play competitively
until linking up with Craig Elliott’s new-look United set-up in the summer.
But the 27-year-old
is still working his way back to full fitness and has made only one start for
the Pilgrims so far this season.
He could make his
Hyde debut tonight in the Integro League Cup against Stalybridge Celtic. |
