....Hemel Hempstead Town to take up those posts at Vanarama National League South rivals Billericay Town.
Brennan and Maynard led Hemel to the Southern League title and last season achieved the club`s highest ever league position, qualifying for the play-offs.
Brennan began his playing career at Sheffield Wednesday before earning a two-year contract at Luton Town.
The midfielder then enjoyed an illustrious career in non-League football with spells at Stevenage Borough, Grays Athletic, Lewes, AFC Wimbledon, Cambridge City, Chesham United and Hemel.
At the age of 29, Brennan was appointed interim manager of Hemel in March 2010 in a bid to avoid relegation after the sacking of previous incumbent Gary Phillips.
Together with assistant-manager and Watford legend Luther Blissett, Brennan went on to amass enough points in the remaining nine games that eventually saw Hemel earn a reprieve to stay in the Premier Division as well as win the Hertfordshire Charity Cup and St Mary's Cup.
Brennan went onto Dunstable Town at the start of the 2011/12 season as player-coach, finishing second in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division with an impressive 99 points before returning to manage the Tudors.
Maynard was born in Aylesbury and began his playing days with Watford as an apprentice followed by a brief spell in Holland.
He enjoyed a successful non-League career playing for St Albans City, Aylesbury United, Enfield, Hitchin Town, Dunstable, Chesham United and Barton Rovers.
Before joining Hemel, both Brennan and Maynard were professional scouts and have secured a number of signings at League and non-League level.
Darren Ward and captain Jordan Parkes have been put in temporary charge of Hemel for this Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup match at Bowers & Pitsea. |
