Twenty-seven-year-old forward Cox came through the ranks at Braintree Town, breaking into the first-team at New Lodge before spending time on loan with Aveley and Concord Rangers.

He joined Maidenhead United in the summer of 2016, winning the Vanarama National League South in his first season before returning to the island to sign for Concord last season.

He finished the campaign with Basildon United in the Essex Senior League and now joins the Gulls to bolster an impressive forward line.

Agyakwa (pictured) was a popular player with supporters during his last spell with the Gulls, originally joining in 2014 and going on to make 100 appearances before departing at the end of the 2016/17 due to re-location.

He played for Oxford City in the National League South and Didcot Town in the Evo-Stik South West last season but has now returned to the area and has chosen to re-sign for Canvey, despite interest from other clubs.
