.....National League North side Alfreton Town has been extended until the end of the season.

Gowling joined the Reds in mid-August on a one-month loan deal and has made seven appearances.

Manager Billy Heath told the club`s press officer Amar Sharma: “It’s a fantastic move for us to have Josh stay with us until the end of the season. It’s massively important to keep him here; he’s settled so well and has been excellent since he came to the Reds.

“When Josh initially joined we were always looking to extend it, he has come in with valuable experience and his stand-out performances show that. We are delighted to have him until the end of the season now and it’s a brilliant signing”.
