Both Casuals and their first-time visitors to the Elmbridge Xcel Sports Hub, Salisbury FC, were promoted at the end of last season, with Casuals also being switched to the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division South from the Bostik South.
The Whites were expected to challenge for at least a play-off spot this season but heading to Surrey they had won two and drawn three of their opening six games, while the hosts had won just once last Saturday at home to Swindon Supermarine and had lost three.
Ollie Robinson gave the home side a 14th minute lead.
And then immediately after the break, Casuals doubled their advantage through Taurean Roberts.
Altrincham loanee Bay Downing reduced the deficit just past the hour-mark, but a third from sub Kyron Farrell in the 87th minute sealed the hosts` win. |
