The home Scholars were looking to recover quickly from last weekend`s home defeat by Leatherhead, while the Rebels suffered their first defeat last Saturday against Margate, so were looking to get back on track.

 

It was goalless at the break as the teams struggled to come to terms with the windy conditions.

 

But it was the home side who broke the deadlock on the hour-mark through Bradley Sach.

 

Fourteen minutes later, Worthing were level when a cross from Jesse Starkey found Joel Colbran at the far post to fire home the equaliser.
