There was an `upset` as Hallmark Security League Premier Division side Padiham were knocked out by Division One North hosts Prestwich Heys.

 

In the windy conditions, it was a remarkable game that could have ended any score.

 

Amazingly, the only goal of the first half came from Heys` Lee Grimshaw after 19 minutes.

 

Rio Wilson-Heyes and Grimshaw again stretched the home side`s lead to 3-0 by the hour-mark, with Jack Tinning reducing the deficit in the 74th minute.

 

Two minutes later, Chris Baguley made it 4-1, only for a Liam O`Neill penalty to pull a second back for the visitors 6 minutes later.

 

But Michael Itela on 85 minutes and Theo Kidd 3 minutes into stoppage time stretched the lower league side`s lead to 6-2.

 

There was an `upset` to at Shoemakers Lane as late goals by Joe Jackson on 84 minutes and Alex Vincent a minute into stoppage time saw Thurlow Nunn League Division One North side Swaffham Town through in their replay at home to Thurlow Nunn Premier Division Framlingham Town.

 

NWCL Division One South rivals Vauxhall Motors and Cheadle Town met in their replay and it went comprehensively the way of the hosts, 6-0.

 

Braces for Kyle Scarsbrick on 6 and 17 minutes and Dan Cross on 57 and 75 minutes – from the spot - and singles for Ben Greenhop on 47 minutes and Tom Mitchell on 79 minutes saw Motors safely through.

 

There was a thriller at Total Motion Midland League Premier Division Walsall Wood in their replay with Midland League Division One side Uttoxeter Town.

 

An `upset` looked on the cards as Wood found themselves 3-0 down on the hour-mark, 3-3 with 5 minutes to play, 4-3 down with 3 minutes to go and 4-4 in stoppage time, before winning the tie with 6 minutes of extra-time left!

 

Sub Joe Butlin with a brace, Dan Okojie, Jordan Nadat and another sub, Tony Clarke, with the Wood goals.

 

Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division Spelthorne Sports avoided the banana skin at home to United Counties League Division One visitors Bugbrooke St Michaels.

 

Goals from Jamil Saleh and Lewis Flatman completed a 2-0 win.

 

The all-Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division replay between Tuffley Rovers and Longlevens at Glevum Park went the way of the visitors 1-0.

 

The goal came in the 111th minute after a goalless 90 minutes, courtesy of Ryan Dunn.

 

And Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier side Alresford Town avoided being beaten at home by Wessex One opposition in Verwood Town, thanks to a 28th minute Sam Burt goal.
