Swan gained experience with Deeping Rangers and Peterborough Northern Star before becoming Pinchbeck`s number one, helping them to win the UCL Division One title last season.

Assistant-manager Allan Ross said: "He will be a huge loss, but he deserves this chance at a higher level.

"We'll also miss him as a character. His parents supported him, and we want a friendly atmosphere around the club.

"Ricky Lovelace will become our number one, along with his coaching role, and Jamie Robinson moves up the pecking order”.
