Sendles-White, 24, spent his youth career with Queens Park Rangers before signing a pro contract with the Rs in 2013.
Capped by Northern Ireland at under-19, 20 and under-21 level, moves to Hamilton Academicals, Swindon Town, Leyton Orient, and St Albans City followed.
“He can play as a centre-back in a two or a three,” manager Gary Johnson told https://www.torquayunited.com. “He can play as a deep-lying midfielder. He’s a quality footballer.
“He’s been unlucky with injuries in the early part of his career which is why he missed out on a few games but everywhere he’s been they’ve rated him. I’ve kept an eye on him for some time because I’ve known of him and watched him and seen him at Swindon many times. I think he was on the bench a few times for QPR in the Premiership.”
Johnson is pleased to have Jamie on board: “I didn’t expect to get him, and it’s nice that the club has backed me with it so quickly and I can bring in an experienced good footballer”. |
