Lemon, who was born in Chesterfield, is well-known to manager Dave Frecklington and his assistants Terry Fleming and Chris Rawlinson playing for both Lincoln United and Spalding.

His other previous clubs include Chesterfield and Worksop Town.

When the question was put to him, manager Frecklington told the club`s Ian Richardson: “Jordan’s a right-sided wing-back with pace to burn, aggressive and when we got play-offs at Lincoln United he was named in NPL team of the year as best right-back.”

Lemon goes straight into the squad to travel to Stalybridge Celtic tomorrow.
