Wheeler Makes Third Stones Signing
Harry Wheeler, the new manager of Vanarama National League club Maidstone United, has made his third.....

.....signing since taking over the Gallagher Stadium hot-seat.

 

Joining loanees Lawrie Wilson and Simon Walton at Stones is midfielder Olu Durojaiye.

 

He joins after choosing to leave league rivals Braintree Town, where he had played in every game this season until his departure from the club last week.

 

A youth player at both Tottenham Hotspur and Norwich City, the combative central midfielder then embarked upon a career north of the border, turning out for both Falkirk and Brechin City.

 

Durojaiye then returned to the south of England and eventually settled at Welling United for the 2017/18 season, impressing as he made 42 appearances for the Wings in the National League South.

 

His performances then earned a move to newly-promoted Braintree in the summer of 2018.
