....league at The CNG stadium as overnight leaders Harrogate Town took Leyton Orient.

And in front  of a crowd of 2,584, it was newly-promoted Harrogate who would lose their unbeaten status in the league as goals from Jobi McAnuff after 36 and 69 minutes, sandwiched by one from Macauley Bonne on 23 minutes meant that Orient side leap-frogged Town to the top of the table.

Wrexham dropped to third as they were beaten 3-0 at Gander Green Lane by Sutton United.

Shaun Pearson conceded a 15th minute penalty for holding which Jamie Collins duly converted.

Sutton claimed a soft second goals after Wrexham failed to deal with a routine ball into the box and Kieron Cadogan netted.

Then right on the stroke of half-time, the visitors` day got worse when they had Luke Summerfield sent-off for dangerous play.

Craig Eastmond made it 3-0 within 6 minutes of the second half getting underway to kill the game off as a contest.

Salford City are fourth after a good 3-1 win at the Peninsula Stadium against Boreham Wood.

The Ammies took only 3 minutes to take the lead through Tom Walker, who scored from close range after Rory Gaffney`s head on.

It was 2-0 on 21 minutes when Mark Shelton fired home a superb half-volley.

Seven minutes after half-time, Graham Alexander`s side added a third when Gaffney converted a Danny Lloyd cross at the far post.

Wood pulled one back 3 minutes later through Josh Umerah but were well beaten on the day.

Hartlepool United won for a fourth successive away game for the first time in 12 years at The Shay against nine-man FC Halifax Town.

After a goalless first half there was a crazy start to the second period with Pools going in front from the penalty spot through Liam Noble after home skipper Matty Brown had been red-carded for a foul on Peter Kioso in the box.

It got worse for the hosts 7 minutes later when Matty Kosylo was shown a second yellow card and they were down to nine-men.

Nicky Featherstone made it 2-0 with a fine drive from 20 yards before Jacob Hanson grabbed an 88th minute consolation for the hosts.

Barnet bounced back from last weekend’s defeat by claiming a draw against AFC Fylde at The Hive.

Shaq Coulthirst opened the scoring for Barnet on 20 minutes, but it was short-lived as Danny Philliskirk’s header 5 minutes later meant the points were shared.

Solihull Moors went nap at the Automated Technology Group Stadium against Bromley, for whom this was a fourth successive defeat.

An Alex Gudger header from a Darren Carter corner gave Moors the perfect start after just 2 minutes.

And they were two-up with 10 minutes gone on the clock when player-coach Carter fired in a 25-yarder.

Nine minutes on and Bromley were facing a long afternoon as Jermaine Hylton added a third, although Danny Wright was claiming it after the ball deflected off the striker.

The home side made it 4-0 in the 2nd minute of injury-time with Wright definitely getting the final touch this time to a Jamey Osborne cross.

As often happens with a scoreline like that, the second half was a damage limitation exercise for the visitors, who restricted Moors to just one more after 72 minutes with Osborne scoring, but the gloss was take off the afternoon slightly when the home side had Kwame Thomas dismissed 4 minutes into stoppage time for a second yellow card offence.

Chesterfield endured their worst defeat of the season, going down 3-0 at the Proact Stadium to Gateshead.

The Spireites, who had second half substitute Zavon Hines red carded after just 7 minutes on the pitch, were embarrassed by former Spireite Scott Boden, who scored twice for the visitors after 18 and 68 minutes, with Steven Rigg sandwiching the other just before the break to leave Chesterfield without a win in nine games.

Ebbsfleet United had to settle for a 1-1 draw at home to Havant & Waterlooville and it's now five matches without a win for Daryl McMahon's side.

Havant took the lead after just 2 minutes as Darren Winfield failed to clear and Nicke Kabamba rounded Nathan Ashmore and Aaron Cosgrave volleyed in from a couple of yards.

Fleet levelled in the 28th minute when Hawks` keeper Ben Dudzinski made lost out to Corey Whitely in a sprint. Whitely got to the through-ball first, squared for Michael Cheek and he scored on the half-volley – his first of the season.

Fleet had Kenny Clark sent-off for a second yellow card in the closing stages of a frustrating afternoon for the home fans.

Eastleigh`s long wait for a Saturday home victory finally ended as they pulled off a dramatic late 1-0 victory over Dagenham & Redbridge at the Silverlake Stadium.

In front of the live BT Sport cameras for the lunchtime kick-off, Alex Wynter grabbed the headlines with an 89th minute header from Mark Yeates’ corner.

Much earlier though, Eastleigh`s new loan signing from Sunderland, goalkeeper Max Stryjek, saved Chike Kandi’s poor penalty seconds before the half-time whistle.

New boss Harry Wheeler managed to halt Maidstone United`s run of six defeats in a row with a 1-0 win at fellow strugglers Braintree Town.

With five new signings made this week, four debuting today, a penalty from Blair Turgott 5 minutes into stoppage time gave the Stones the victory.

A debut brace from Aldershot Town`s Adam May saw Dover Athletic remain at the bottom of the table.

The Portsmouth loanee scored in each half as Chris Kinnear’s men suffered back-to-back defeats.

Midfielder May almost had a dream start for his new club, hitting the bar from close range from Dominic Bernard’s cross.

But the 22-year old didn’t have long to wait for his first Shots goal when he fired in Bernard’s pass to put the home side ahead on 18 minutes.

And a second goal on the counter-attack ended with May grabbing his second on 66 minutes.

Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong broke clear and found the midfielder who tapped in at the back post.

Barrow AFC ended a run of five games without a win after beating Maidenhead United 2-0 at the Furness Building Society Stadium.

The deadlock was broken after 25 minutes when on-loan Luke Burgess set up John Rooney for a close-range finish.

Rooney hit the bar soon afterwards but it wasn`t until the 74th minute that the Bluebirds were able to stretch their lead with another close range effort from Tyler Smith.
