....the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division table with a 3-1 win at North Ferriby United.

These two teams were separated by two divisions this time last season, but the momentum is now with Boro following promotion, and in front of a crowd of 605 at the Flamingo Land Stadium, after a goalless first half and the shock of a 54th minute Jason Harrison opener for Ferriby, Boro won with goals from Michael Coulson on 69 minutes and then a brace from James Walshaw in the final 8 minutes.

Lancaster City still can`t find that elusive first win and were beaten 3-1 at promoted Basford United, who are now fourth in the embryonic table.

But like Scarborough, the Nottinghamshire side needed to come back from being a 12th minute Matt Blinkhorn goal down to win.

Deon Meikle eventually equalised just past the hour-mark and then put his side in front after 82 minutes, with Kole Lambert adding a third in stoppage time.

Matlock Town`s new boss Dave Frecklington saw his team lose 3-1 at Bowe Fold to Stalybridge Celtic, who have made an inconsistent start.

Matty Wolfenden gave the home side a 38th minute lead that Scott Bakkor eventually doubled after 74 minutes.

Neil Kengni made the points safe with Celtic`s third just 4 minutes later, rendering Craig Westcarr`s 89th minute effort as just a consolation for the Gladiators.

The day`s only other game saw Hyde United win for the first time in the league since the opening day.

The Tigers won 1-0 at the Turnbull Ground against Whitby Town, courtesy of a Matty Hughes goal after 15 minutes.
