....winning at Paulton Rovers on Saturday, while Yate Town remain unbeaten.

Lerone Plummer bagged a brace either side of half-time for the Hampshire side at Paulton, whose Liam Monelle replied on the hour-mark.

Yate shocked overnight leaders Evesham United to win 2-1 at Jubilee Park with goals from Nick Peare after 49 minutes and David Sims-Burgess on 70 minutes – 8 minutes before Jacob Davidge scored for United.

At the other end of the table, Barnstaple Town suffered a seventh successive defeat, 2-1 at home to Slimbridge, whose Ed Mbunga broke the deadlock on 56 minutes.

Jack Rice-Lethaby equalised in the 70th minute, but Ewen Dunbar won it for the Swans 10 minutes later.

Better news for Barum`s Devon rivals Bideford AFC, who won by the odd goal in five at Larkhall Athletic.

Ben Wood`s 16th minute opener for the visitors was cancelled out by Lewis Powell just before the break.

Wood restored Biddy`s lead 5 minutes after half-time, only for Alex Lambert to level again 20 minutes from time.

But Craig Allan won it for the Devonians 8 minutes later.

Highworth Town beat fellow newcomers Thatcham Town 5-0 at home, thanks to a Jordan Roberts brace and a second half hat-trick from Callum McGhee-Parsons.

Street won the derby at Cossham Street against Mangotsfield United, coming back from being a 35th minute Louis Britton goal down to win, courtesy of David O`Hare right on half-time and Harry Foster 10 minutes from the end.

And Fleet Town are yet to find a win after suffering a 5-2 hammering at Calthorpe Park by AFC Totton, whose experienced striker Justin Bennett bagged a brace to go with strikes from Eddie Perrett, Tom Bearwith and Stuart Green -  Mesach Williams with two for Fleet.
