Congleton Town are in third place, the Bears coming from behind with goals from Dan Cope and Dean Warburton in the last 20 minutes earning a 2-1 win at Charnock Richard.

Barnoldswick Town's 5-1 win over Runcorn Town at the Silentnight Stadium moved them to within one place and five points of their visitors, and Padiham are level on points with Barlick following their 4-0 home win over Litherland REMYCA, in which Mike Fowler scored twice for the Storks.

Northwich Victoria's good run of form was ended by a 1-0 defeat at Whitchurch Alport, the decisive goal coming from Nick Porter in the 17th minute

Squires Gate's 2-1 defeat at Hanley Town keeps them in eight place, one place above Bootle who won 5-1 at home to Abbey Hey, Carl Peers scoring twice for the Bucks.

Taylor Kennerley scored both goals for 1874 Northwich in the 2-1 win at West Didsbury & Chorlton.

The First Division North is now headed by Carlisle City, who moved two points clear at the top with two first half goals from David Renyard setting them on their way to a 4-2 home win over Avro.

A second half comeback from AFC Liverpool saw them score three times without reply to earn a 3-1 win at Shelley that moved them into fourth place, and Lower Breck are one place behind following their 3-1 win over Bacup Borough.

Cleator Moor Celtic's 7-1 win defeat of AFC Darwen moved them level on points with their visitors, although it was an outcome few would have predicted at half time with Celtic just 1-0 ahead.

Goals in the last 14 minutes from Justin Pickering and Theodore Kidd edged Prestwich Heys to a 3-1 home win over Steeton, and a hat-trick from Liam DIggle was the highlight of St Helens Town's 9-0 win against bottom of the table Holker Old Boys.

Gary Burnett scored twice in Atherton LR's 4-2 win at Garstang, Bradley Smart also bagged a double in Ashton Town's 4-1 win at Daisy Hill and a last-minute equaliser from Jake Lloyd salvaged a 2-2 draw for Nelson at home to Chadderton.

In the First Division South, Rylands top the table after an impressive 5-2 win at Cheadle Heath Nomads.

Not for the first time this season, joint player-manager Stuart Wellstead was instrumental in his side's win, scoring his second hat-trick of the season.

Wythenshawe Amateurs are now in second place after going down 3-2 at New Mills on Friday night after being two up with an hour played, and Vauxhall Motors moved into third place, thanks to a 4-3 win in a thriller against St Martins.

Dan Cross struck an 82nd minute winner for the Motormen, who were 3-1 down at the break.

Abbey Hulton United are fifth after Lee Cropper's 88th minute winner earned them a 2-1 win at Sandbach United, and Cheadle Town are one point and one place behind with Ruben Abreu's goal clinching a 1-0 win at Ellesmere Rangers.

Wythenshawe Town wrote their name in league history with their 11-3 win at Eccleshall being the first time that the score has ever been recorded.

Seven different Town players got on the score sheet and Danny Hudson bagged a hat-trick.

FC Oswestry Town's David Howarth also bagged a hat trick in his side's 5-2 win at Barnton, and a 90th minute winner from Luke Askey clinched a 3-2 win for Stone Old Alleynians at Maine Road.

Elsewhere, Cammell Laird 1907 won 2-0 at Stone Dominoes and an 85th minute Adam Etches penalty secured a 2-2 draw for Stockport Town at home to Alsager Town.
