Morgan, 44, is a former Welsh under-21 International and had spells as a player with Tranmere Rovers, Doncaster Rovers, Morecambe and a number of Welsh clubs.
He began his managerial career at Cefn Druids in 2004 and has also managed Aberystwyth Town, Llandudno and most recently Colwyn Bay in the NPL Division One West.
Ian Johnson will remain at the club in a coaching role.
Marine have also signed midfielder Steve Irwin from league rivals Stalybridge Celtic.
The Liverpool-based 27-year-old began his career with Liverpool in 2008 and has had time abroad with Telstar, FF Jaro and Aab.
Since returning to the UK he has had spells at Skelmersdale United, FC United of Manchester in the National League North and a short spell at Stalybridge.
Finlay Sinclair-Smith has also joined the club on loan from SkyBet League One side Blackpool.
Sinclair-Smith, 18, is a winger who signed his first professional contract with the Tangerines in May.
He made his senior debut in August 2017, scoring in a 1-1 with Wigan Athletic in the EFL Trophy. |
