The former Carshalton Athletic and Herne Bay midfielder moved to the Cannons in March and has played against the Rams a number of times.
Blackman told http://www.ramsgate-fc.co.uk: “I’m really pleased to get Connor. He adds so much to our group. I’ve had lots of conversations with him and finally I’m able to get him signed. I’m absolutely delighted. He’s a defensive-minded midfielder, with the experience to help the younger players around him. When I spoke to him he said that was one of the main attractions to play for us - working with these fantastic youngsters.”
Blackman added: “He’s currently recovering from an ankle operation and is in the final stages of his rehabilitation. He will be working with Levi our physio, as well as getting to meet the players this Tuesday.”
Canterbury-born Sanders added: “I’m happy to have agreed a deal here for the season. After my injury last year and being out for most of the season, getting back playing regularly and enjoying my football is a priority for me, and I feel that under Blacky and at Ramsgate I can do that. I look forward to getting back fully fit and having a successful season with the help of Blacky and his team”.
