Right-sided player Josh Hesson has joined the club following his release from Wolverhampton Wanderers having been with the Premier League new boys since the age of 7.
A move to Sunderland fell through during the summer and Hesson found himself a free agent.
After making contact with City following the signing of Adam Osbourne in August, manager John Snape has moved to bring in another option down the right-hand side.
Hesson can play either as a right-back, right wing-back or further up the pitch and has bags of pace and energy to bring to the team.
City have also signed Drew Ricketts from Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central side Coleshill Town on dual registration terms.
The central defender is formerly of Mansfield Town and Tamworth and comes in to bolster the central defensive area of the team. |
