....with a hard-fought win over previously unbeaten Ossett United.

In front of a crowd of 344, the home side`s winner came from Iulian Petrache after 63 minutes.

Morpeth`s former Ebac Northern League rivals Marske United are second after coming from behind to beat Tadcaster Albion 2-1 at Mount Pleasant.

Tadcaster went in front just after half-time through Lamin Colley, but after Curtis Round had a shot cleared off the line, Jamie Owens headed Marske level from a corner on 78 minutes.

And in stoppage time, Damien Stevens fired Marske`s winner.

Brighouse Town are third after a fine 3-0 derby win at Westfield Lane against Yorkshire rivals Frickley Athletic.

Aaron Martin gave Town a 13th minute lead that Gabby Johnson eventually doubled 11 minutes into the second half.

Recent signing Ousman Cham grabbed a third with 7 minutes remaining.

A fast start from Stamford AFC laid the foundations for the Daniels` derby victory at the Zeeco Stadium against struggling Spalding United.

Stamford struck three times in the opening period through Rob Morgan, Joe Burgess and Reece Morris to record their first victory of September which moves them up into fourth place in the table while leaving the Tulips still seeking their first league success of the season.

Stanley Mugisha added a fourth just after the hour-mark.

Bottom-markers Pickering Town suffered a sixth defeat in nine games, losing 2-1 at home to Lincoln United.

And that despite taking an early 6th minute lead through Nick Thompson.

Matt Cotton`s penalty pulled the Whites back on level terms 9 minutes later, with Mike Jacklin`s goal 6 minutes after half-time proving to be the visitors` winner.

Belper Town made it back-to-back wins after seven previous league games without a win after a 3-2 success at new boys AFC Mansfield.

And they had to come back from a 2-0 deficit after goals from Kieran Wells in the 14th and 25th minutes.

Alex Peterson scored a crucial Nailers reply just before half-time, and then Nathan Curtis in the 74th minute pulled them on level terms.

Pitou Crouz popped up with a stoppage time winner for Belper.

Sheffield FC suffered a 6-0 thrashing at the Nanpantan Sports Ground by Loughborough Dynamo.

It was all over bar the shouting at half-time as a hat-trick from Karl Demidh and an Alfie Eagle own goal saw Dynamo 4-0 up.

Ryan Robbins on 54 minutes made it a nap hand and Charlie Young added a sixth in the 66th minute.
