A right-winger, Morgan joins the club from the Football Development Agency (FDA) Academy where he has spent the past fifteen months playing for the set-up who aim to give young players released from the professional game a competitive environment to showcase their ability.

An ex-Morecambe scholar, the left-footed attacking player is confident on the right wing or in a forward position and is another addition with a promising future ahead.

Since March 2018 he has spent time with Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One West outfit Prescot Cables, where he has put in some match-winning performances, after moving from National League side Harrogate Town.

His other clubs also include AFC Fylde and Kendal Town.

The Preston-based 20-year-old has trained with Port recently and impressed the management team immediately, who didn’t waste any time in securing his signature.
