....Kevin Edgar and Danny Boden have agreed to join, making the step up from Hallmark Security League North side Bootle FC.

The duo re-unite with current first-team coach Chris Stammers and defender Jack Fleming after the quintet worked and played together at AFC Liverpool.

They departed 'The Little Reds' in February with Edgar having scored 15 times in 27 games and Boden scoring 10 goals in 28 games.

The move to the Bucks saw their scoring form continue with Edgar (pictured) scoring 9 goals in 18 games while Boden hit two in ten games. Both players also have experience at Sunday League level having starred for Mid-Lancs Premier Division side Southport & Ainsdale Amateurs.

United manager Dave Powell told his club`s website: "I am delighted to welcome Kevin and Danny to the club. They are hungry lads who we have been tracking throughout last year, they are well known to Chris and we both feel very confident that they will make a great impact in the Evo-Stik league next season".
