....Macauley Dodson from Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division South side Swindon Supermarine.
Having initially teamed up with the club last season on a dual registration from the South Marston-based side, Dodson produced some terrific defensive performances as he returned to full fitness having been out injured for some time.
And, having found his opportunities in the side limited this season, Davies has managed to bring the player back to Barrington Park on the same deal.
With experience at `Marine, Highworth Town, Chippenham Town and Forest Green Rovers, the player helped strengthen the side’s defensive capabilities when he made his return at the weekend as the side saw off Uhlsport Hellenic Two East side Long Crendon in the Bluefin Sports Challenge Cup where he played the full 90 minutes.
Shrivenham have also welcomed former Carterton captain Sean McKeon to the club.
The frontman also joined the club ahead of Saturday’s win at Long Crendon and made his debut for the club as a second half substitute.
The player re-signed for Carterton in the summer ahead of what promised to be an exciting period for the newly promoted Uhlsport Hellenic League One West side.
He was Carterton’s top scorer last season in League Two West with 16 goals from 18 games and was also awarded the managers` player of the season gong at the end of the campaign.
He is also an FA Level 2 qualified coach and had a spell in charge of Carterton’s under-18 side.
Prior to making his debut for Shrivenham at the weekend, he had already racked up 2 goals in three games for his former club and having come on as a second half substitute, was instrumental in two of the three goals Shrivenham scored. |
