....successive defeat, losing to a second half goal at Lincoln United on Wednesday night.
The only goal of the game came on 62 minutes when the visitors` defence was caught on its heels with a far post corner being headed home by Sean Wright.
Right at the death Connor Smith almost rescued a point for Frickley but his shot bounced off the top of the crossbar.
In Wednesday`s other game, visiting Marske United also came close to winning the game at the end, but had to be content with a point from a 1-1 draw against fellow newcomers Pontefract Collieries in an entertaining encounter in Yorkshire.
Colls took a 25th minute lead when Connor Smythe pulled the ball back for Jack Greenhough to fire home.
Marske were level though just 7 minutes later when Kevin Hayes crossed for Matty Waters, who knocked the ball down for Curtis Round to slot past the keeper.
And although a point meant Marske are now five unbeaten, they should have won it in stoppage time when Jamie Owens put the ball wide of an open goal.
