This will be a return to the Dockers for O'Boyle, who was the manager of the club between 2008 and 2010, after which he enjoyed highly successful time at Phoenix Sports, where he spent just over five years.

In his first season at Phoenix Sports alongside joint-manager Tony Beckenham they won the Kent Invicta League, in his second they finished sixth in the Southern Counties East League, and in his third campaign, he led Phoenix on his own to win the SCEL title and then had two seasons in the Ryman North with fourteenth and eighth-place finishes respectively.

Woodward told his club`s website: “I`m really pleased that Boylie has joined us. It is another sign that club is ambitious and wants to progress both on and off the field. To be able to have on board a man of Steve's talent and experience is a big coup for us.
