The 23-year-old joins after a fantastic season for the Abbey, scoring 20 goals from midfield in 47 appearances.
He came through the Brentwood Town youth set-up, and he was given his first-team debut at the age of 17 and helped the club gain promotion to the Premier Division via the play-offs.
Football runs through Ngandu’s family as he is the cousin of Middlesbrough striker Britt Assombalonga.
Aveley manager James Webster told his club`s website how he’s tried to sign Ngandu a few times but finally has his man: “I have tried to sign Shad on two previous occasions, once when I was at Brightlingsea and then when I took the job here in October, so it is great to finally get my man.
“His ability to score goals and open up defences with his eye for a pass will definitely be a factor if we are to be successful this season”. |
