Rowe signed a professional contract with Barnsley last season, but things did not quite work out.

Liversedge manager Jonathan Rimmington took advice from first-team coach Dave Haley and the club made an audacious move for the 6'3" striker.

Rimmington told the club`s website: “I have been and met the family and Louis himself and we are going to get this lad his mojo back and hopefully Louis can start believing in himself again as he as a lot to offer.

“We have fought off attention from above the non-League Pyramid, but we are here to help young footballers and try to help in their development”.
