Kiwomya signed for Rovers on a free transfer from then-Premier League champions Chelsea ahead of the 2017/18 season.
He had loan spells with Barnsley, Fleetwood Town and Crewe Alexandra before deciding to make a permanent move to the Keepmoat Stadium.
The pacey forward has also represented England all the way up to under-20 level.
The 22-year-old has since made 16 appearances in all competitions for Rovers, scoring one goal.
Manager Grant McCann told https://www.doncasterroversfc.co.uk: “Alex is going to go on loan and it’s important that he goes to play games as he missed a large part of last season through illness.
“He was very close to the side at the start of the season and started the Wycombe game, but then got an injury which set him back.
“He’s going to a club with a manager who will make sure he works hard, it’s exactly what he needs at the moment”. |
