As reported on this site, Jonathan Nzengo has been given an opportunity two leagues higher to join Boro`s Vanarama National League South landlords East Thurrock United on a dual registration deal.
Martin, although disappointed to lose one of the younger talents he has nurtured, told the club`s website: "I am really pleased for Jonathan, he has worked really hard, but I now need to find a replacement for one of my outstanding young players."
Martin then revealed another club favourite was leaving the club. "I am sad to see Steven Reynolds leave the club. This is due to work commitments I would like to thank him for his services, and supporters and players will always welcome him to the club whenever he visits.”
The reduced number of games, and early exits from the club has given Martin a bit of a headache as he tries to keep all the squad interested and fit.
"I have decided to put a number of players out on loan to get game time for fitness and experience. This is good for the players and should the club need to we can recall them."
Harry Daly and Tom Potters have been sent to Thurlow Nunn League Division One South side Frenford, Peter Oyetunji, Connor Tyrrell and Toby Barlow have gone to Essex Senior League side Barkingside, Harry Prince to Essex Olympian Leaguers Snaresbrook FC and Kwasi Marfo and Darnell Gaother-Braithwaite to Essex Senior League outfit Tower Hamlets. |
